Music is nature in motion
Before instruments and theory, there was rhythm: the heartbeat, the wind, the flow of water, the cycles of day and night.
In the Mizan Gallery, music is explored as vibration, energy, and emotion, inseparable from art and science. Every note follows a physical truth, every harmony reflects balance, and every melody carries structure that can be seen as well as heard. The same laws that govern waves, light, and motion shape musical sound and artistic form.
Music paints invisible pictures. It moves like a drawing in time, where science explains the wave and art gives it meaning. Scientists study frequencies and patterns; artists and musicians transform them into feeling.
This space is an invitation to listen deeply, not just to sound, but to silence, timing, and resonance. Music here is not confined to genre or technique. It is an expression of curiosity, discipline, and imagination working together.
Close your eyes. Follow the rhythm. Feel how music connects the mind, the heart, and the shared language of art and science.
Mizan is a well-known and established singer, recognized for his powerful and authentic renditions of modern Bengali songs from the golden era of the 1960s–1980s.
He attained distinction in singing songs by legendary artists such as Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, and especially Manna Dey. Audiences often remark that his voice, phrasing, and emotional depth closely resemble that of Manna Dey, and that he can perform these songs with remarkable precision and soul.
Mizan has performed at prestigious cultural events including FOBANA and Bongo Shommelon (NABC), as well as in numerous cities across the United States and other countries. In 2006, he received the ATN Award for the USA Bangladeshi musical contest. He has also released a music CD. His repertoire spans Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, and classical music, blending nostalgia with disciplined musical expression. Alongside his career in science and engineering, music remains a deeply personal creative outlet through which he connects with audiences worldwide.
